Mustafa Cafe, nestled conveniently on Syed Alwi Rd in Singapore, is quickly gaining a reputation for its affordable and delicious offerings, making it a must-visit spot for food lovers. With an impressive range of vegetarian fast food, customer reviews highlight how the cafe excels in providing high-quality meals at extremely budget-friendly prices. Dishes like the grilled sandwich at S$4.5 and samosas for only S$1.5 are particularly praised for their taste and generous portions.
Many reviews celebrate the vibrant flavors of the cafe’s offerings, especially the Masala tea, lauded as one of the best in town and a staple among regular patrons. The ambience might be casual, situated next to the bustling street and crowded with diners, yet this contributes to its charm. However, cleanliness appears to be a concern according to several visitors, who rated it modestly. Despite this, the overwhelming sentiment is that the value for money is unparalleled, especially during peak hours. With plans to expand their menu post-pandemic, we anticipate even more delightfully authentic Indian dishes to come. In summary, Mustafa Cafe is a hidden gem that promises a satisfying culinary experience without putting a strain on your wallet.

Reviews for Mustafa Cafe
Review highlights
Based on 1,010 reviewsMustafa Cafe on Syed Alwi Road is widely recognized for its affordable and flavorful Indian fast food, attracting both locals and workers in the area. Customers appreciate the generous portion sizes and competitive pricing, making it a popular spot for budget-conscious diners. The cafe is particularly praised for its Indian-style tea, often highlighted as a standout item that rivals more established cafes. While the food quality and service receive positive feedback, some note the outdoor seating can be less comfortable due to its proximity to the road. Overall, Mustafa Cafe is valued as a hygienic and economical dining option offering a satisfying variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian street food choices in a casual setting.
i bought a grilled sandwich, it only cost S$4.5!!! very cheap! It was so big and they gave large size for the french fries. They are located in front of the mustafa center, near the entrance. They have lots of table, and the waiting time was about 5 minutes. Worth the price.
Cheapest street food in Singapore! Taste : 4/5 Type : Street food Minimun Budget for 2 : 20 Sgd Finally I found a place where I can have a tasteful Indian fastfood. I had order veg burger, veg sandwich and cold coffee. Burger was yummiest, sandwich was okay but tasted good for my indian tastebud, coffee was not good for my taste but this was such a great experience. l am looking forward to try more of this cafe's menu.
Cheapest and hygiene fast food options available here. Only place where you will be getting good and affordable vegetarian dishes. Tea is very good compared to nearby places.
I tried Masala tea, Fish n chips and chicken sandwich. They are 5 star in food quality and service but sitting area is beside road.
An often neglected place as it is usually crowded by workers and Mustafa's own staff. If there is only one thing for which you can visit this cafe (and its actually the case for majority of its customers) it is the TEA. One of the best Teh C (or more precisely I should say Indian Tea) you can get in town beating some of the most popular Kaya Toast Cafe chains and Indian restaurants). And yes it only costs 1 dollar and price has remained the same since ages. Other things although under appreciated but worth your money are Lassi (Yoghurt drink) and Mango Lassi (Mango Yoghurt shake). They are also serving Samosas, popular Indian evening snack and it only costs 1.5 dollars, cheapest in town and better in taste than some of the established restaurants. Agree its Frozen samosas fried on order but even restaurant Samosas aren't fresh and are made in bulk. Before Pandemic they used to serve excellent Chicken Biryani at 6.5 dollars and a whole lot of really nice dishes like Butter chicken, Chilli fish, all kinds of Naan, chole chagall (Chick Peas curry n rice) etc procured from their rooftop restaurant Kenabs n curries. I hope they start with all those items soon. Now some bad stuff. On cleanliness I will rate them 2 or 2.5 on scale of 1-5. On weekends its always a que which may take from 3 mins to sometimes 10 mins. Don't go there on a Sunday evening as it will be extremely difficult to find a sitting spot. Overall high value for money, low on cleanliness and yes you shouldn't mind being in que with Bangla/Indian workers (they are hard working nation builders....literally). I have been too generous in giving them an extra star but that's my pay back for 15+ yes of excellent Tea.
This marcket just like a big-bazar ..but 10 time big size of Mustafa centre..
